Three seminars from Teikyo University were recognized at the 17th University Consortium Hachioji Student Presentation, held at the Hachioji City Gakuen Toshi Center (Hachioji City, Tokyo) on Saturday, December 6th and Sunday, December 7th, 2025.
This conference brings together 25 member universities and other institutions, allowing students to present the results of their daily studies in a clear and logical manner, thereby advancing their own research and discovering and imagining new value through understanding the work of others and different fields, thereby contributing to the development of member universities and the Hachioji region. Divided into oral presentation sessions, poster sessions, exhibition sessions, and proposal sessions, each focused on a specialized field or local issue, this year saw 285 applications. Over the two days, over 40 students from 15 groups in the Faculty of Economics and Faculty of Languages and Cultures from our university presented their research findings and proposals for Hachioji City's government and revitalization. International students from the Department of Department of Global Japanese Studies were also seen giving presentations and participating in Q&A sessions in Japanese.
By participating in this conference, students will be able to listen to presentations from other universities and fields, and by engaging in exchanges that transcend the boundaries of their universities and schools, it is expected that they will continue to actively work to solve social issues.
