Participated in the Japan-Korea Business Idea Presentation International Exchange Workshop hosted by the Japan External Trade Organization

From Friday, October 24th to Sunday, October 26th, 2025, in Seoul, South Korea, finalists of the Teikyo University Business Idea Contest 2024, the university's Hachioji Campus entrepreneurial circle "Start-Up," and volunteer students taking the "Entrepreneurship Seminar" taught by Associate Professor Kohei Mikami of the Department Faculty of Economics Department of Business Administration Department of Economics, and Senior Assistant Professor Junichi Owaki of the same faculty will be holding a Japan-Korea Business Idea Presentation International Exchange Workshop in collaboration with Sookmyung Women's University, with the aim of fostering entrepreneurship. ^* I participated in.

Since last year, the Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO) has been holding business workshops utilizing intellectual property in collaboration with Sookmyung Women's University. This year, in collaboration with Mr. Yuichi Otsuka, Deputy Director of the JETRO Seoul Office, our university officially participated in the event, led by Professor Tomohisa Kimura Faculty of Law Department of Law, and held a joint international exchange workshop.
This initiative is part of the university's distinctive entrepreneurship education program, which promotes internationalization and was implemented by Professor Kimura, Associate Professor, and Senior Assistant Professor Owaki in collaboration across academic fields.

By fostering entrepreneurship through practice and learning and experiencing intercultural understanding, our university aims to cultivate international citizens who can thrive in working life after graduation while engaging in heart-to-heart exchanges with the people of South Korea this year, which marks the 60th anniversary of the normalization of diplomatic relations between South Korea.
